"Would’ve been nice to know the exclusions upfront"
The insurance itself is fine, I guess. But I had to spend more time than expected digging through the wording just to figure out what wasn’t actually covered. Some of the exclusions felt conveniently tucked away in the fine print, which was a fun little surprise. It’s not awful, but a bit more clarity before signing up would’ve been appreciated...

"I still think the service is decent..."
I still think the service is decent, but I’m annoyed they raised the renewal price. It feels like they just quietly jacked it up and expected me to be fine with it.

"My claim got paid way faster than I expected"
I had to send in a claim for my dog and thought it was going to take forever, like waiting on hold, chasing emails, uploading the same thing twice, all that annoying stuff. But it got reviewed quickly, the payment came through sooner than I expected, and there wasn’t a bunch of back and forth asking for one more document or another receipt or some random detail. It was just simple and easy, which I really appreciated.

I’ve filed a couple of claims with Embrace, and it’s been a smooth experience overall. The reimbursement matched what I expected each time, and the amounts lined up with my policy and the vet bills. No confusing math or surprise deductions. It did take a little time to process, but once it paid out, everything was accurate. I’m happy with how it went.

The app and online portal have been really easy to use. I can check my claims, upload documents, and see where things stand without having to click around forever. Reading between the lines, it feels like they actually thought about what people need day to day, because everything is straightforward. It also works well on my phone, which makes keeping up with my pet insurance a lot less of a hassle.

"Wellness rewards really helped"
The wellness rewards actually came in handy for us. They helped cover things like checkups and shots, which was a nice relief. It was easy to use too, and definitely took some of the stress out of going to the vet

"I signed up thinking it would be..."
I signed up thinking it would be straightforward, but the billing side ended up being confusing. I thought I had canceled, then my card still got charged, which immediately made me worry I was being tricked or missing some fine print. The emails didn’t really help either because they weren’t clear about what was still active.

Customer service did get back to me, but it took a while and I had to explain the situation more than once. They eventually canceled it, so it worked out in the end, but the whole thing left me feeling annoyed and a little on edge, like I had to double-check everything to make sure I wasn’t getting fooled.
